Contemplative Outreach
Serving Dallas/Fort Worth & North
Texas
|
 |
Welcome to Cell of Peace. This is the home
page of the DFW Chapter of Contemplative Outreach serving the
greater Dallas & Fort Worth area. Many people in today's world
practice different forms of meditation faithfully. They experience its
transforming power and value the benefits of resting in silence, a
silence too deep for words (insights on
scriptural prayer). Small faith communities are powerful
places to foster the practice of these forms of prayer as they
radiate Love and positive energy. Contemplative Outreach is a
spiritual network designed to nurture the practice of Centering
Prayer and to help build and facilitate prayer groups . We
also practice and teach Lectio Divina, the slow meditative reading
of the Scriptures.
It is my hope, that this web site
will provide information,
ideas, insights and ways of building a spiritual network for you --
for your support on the Spiritual Journey.

Dallas & Fort Worth Chapters Merged
The Dallas and Fort Worth chapters of Contemplative Outreach
have officially merged their resources into one organization,
Contemplative Outreach of DFW, effective December 1,
2012. Over time changes to the web site will be made to
convert all it's web pages to reflect the new chapter name, so
for a while you may see some web pages with only the Dallas
name. Any suggestions or comments regarding the chapter
website are always welcome. Please forward them to the
webmaster. EG
New Prison Outreach Program
In 2012 the DFW Chapter started a prison outreach program lead
by the efforts of Dennis Mc Cain and Paul Vander Linden.
We now introduce a web page on the chapter website devoted to
our prison ministry. Please visit the
Prison Outreach page.
We welcome your feedback.
